Premium placement and introduction videos
Active Pro members can display contact numbers, an introduction video, and a Premium badge, and receive priority among matching search results. Premium identifies paid membership; it does not certify qualifications, teaching quality, or commitment, and does not guarantee enquiries. Tutors supply videos; embedded playback depends on the video provider's settings.
How the platform works
HKTutorPro provides tutor discovery, profile listings, and conversations in Hong Kong. Students or parents and tutors agree directly on lesson times, locations, fees, payment, and cancellations. The platform does not collect lesson fees.
Free profiles and the Pro plan
Creating and publishing a tutor profile is free. Pro costs HK$99/month for enquiries, replies, email notifications, contact details, video introductions, priority placement, and public availability. Parent booking requests need tutor confirmation. Rescheduling and cancellation create notifications; participants agree lesson fees directly. Existing conversations and bookings remain readable after expiry, and parents can still cancel future bookings. No payment is collected before billing opens.
Accurate, appropriate information
Tutors should provide accurate qualifications, experience, and rates. Profile information is self-reported and should not be taken as platform verification. Check suitability and credentials before arranging lessons. Do not send spam, impersonate others, or share someone else’s private information.
Supporting younger learners
Parents or guardians can manage enquiries and lesson arrangements for younger learners. Avoid sharing children’s full addresses or other sensitive details in public profiles or initial enquiries.
